A Glimpse: The JPII Eucharistic Center

This is a small little preview of the much-asked-about John Paul II Eucharistic Center in progress here at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament & Our Lady of the Angels Monastery. To Catholics and believers of all faiths alike, the reason for the Shrine, while prominent, remains an inexhaustible mystery . At the center and heart of the chapel here is Christ truly present in the Eucharist. The JPII center is a 'small' yet significant and innovative tribute to Jesus' unfathomable gift to us - Himself in the Eucharist. Here, visitors to the Shrine can step into recreations of a Jewish home at Passover (a foreshadowing of the Eucharist) and a constructed synagogue like the one where Christ would have given the discourse in John chapter 6. On display are immense paintings depicting the price Christ paid to give us this memorial of His passion and death. Multi Media presentations including stunning reenactment of historical Eucharistic miracles as well as dynamic question and answer segments are available at various booths. Not least of all are tributes to Saints and martyrs who gave the ultimate confession of faith in Christ's Real Presence - their own life. Your prayers and support for this great work are truly appreciated! Adoro te devote!

Mother Angelica's work is never ending. What a beautiful Shrine! I like her style. Nothing too good
or too grand for Our dear Lord.
I may not make it to Europe, but surely I will be
able to make it to Alabama!
Thank you Mother with all my heart.

Praise You, Lord. Thank You, Jesus! Mother, I didn't think The Shrine could possibly be any more breath taking than it already is! I see that I'm wrong. You and everything you have begun is so beautiful, so beautiful for Him. I wouldn't even know how to begin to Thank YOU for saying YES to HIM so many, many times in your life and not because it was easy, but because you knew it was HIS WILL. You are my mentor forever and I have a crucifix that you handed to me and my son, Matthew, when we experienced a miracle by getting to be with you and touch you and look into your eyes of love on Jan.28, 2008. One day we will have a relic - you touched them. That was my first visit to The Shrine and I will never quit coming back. I will be there to see in person this beautiful addition for EWTN Family gathering. I love you so very much, as if you were my own Mother. I pray for you and your needs at this time each and everyday. I see and listen to you each day on EWTN TV and radio. God Loves You SO Much, Mother Angelica. Your dear sisters are awesome and I hope they will always let us be apart of your lives.

Juanita Landers writes that she hopes that retreats are going to be made available soon. This beauty is transcending and so badly needed bo some of us. Please make me aware of when I may come, alone, in need to a time to move away and find a quiet place, to close the door and allow the the communication of the me to communicate with the father of He who is Eternity.

Mother is exactly whom we needed in this world, at this place and during this time in history. Consider she could have been born in any other place than canton and could have ended up in the Philippines!
I am asking for the Lord to open the once so fired up love for every one I met. I am now pretty with drawn. It comes from depression that old sparkie is trying to rub into my soul. With Mary and Jesus he is a loser.

Dear Heavenly Father.

Please hold back your arm, please allow the nuclear reactor situation in Japan to be a solvable mess that will spare contamination and human lives.

The live that have been lost were taken way by natural evil. We do our best to prevent this, but, it is your arm, Holy Lord, that decides what is to befall us.

We deserve it and I humbly beg your forgiveness for the millions of abortions, the millions of divorces and for those who treated the other with these with least bit of dignity.

I have known all of my life that this just arm of the Lord was coming; and am certainly not sure how. From childhood I have known. And since child hood I have been close child to the Blessed Jesus and Mary, for the best part, and doing my best, in light of being human. God bless us all. I offer my life to you to use in your Divine Course of human events. Just give a little warning here and and I would be less likely to drop dead from the stress.
I love you Mother and Son of Justice. Juanita Landers

Dear Mother's and Sisters:

God Reward you for creating this little oasis of Prayer! Many can no longer travel afar to make pilgrimages as in the years gone by. Now, here in America, we can begin to experience more fully in our own country, visible signs of the vitality of the Church and continue to experience ever more deeply the reality of "God with us!"

May Jesus the "Emmanuel" bless all of you with His tender, healing Mercy and Peace!

With promises of continued prayers for you and your entire community, that all your undertakings may be blessed by God, I remain united with you, gently in prayer.
